Editing Services Provided:

*Alpha Critique:  $1.50 per page
Once your chapter is revised and self-edited to the best of your ability in all areas, with at least three or more passes through your manuscript, KnightLines Editing will be the first eyes on your chapter after yours. An Alpha Critique entails an edit of up to three chapters or 50 pages total. Line items and content are critiqued, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, point of view, passive voice, verb tense, sentence structure, continuity issues, and authenticity.
A synopsis of your manuscript is required should you want help with character and plot inconsistencies in the development of your first few chapters.
After three chapters or 50 pages total, content and line editing is warranted.
If the first 50 pages of your manuscript aren’t developed properly, you need to revise.

* Content and Line Editing: $2.00 per page

Your manuscript must be thoroughly self-edited before it’s presented to KnightLines Editing. It is suggested you send out to your Beta Readers first, then self-edit again. The editor reserves the right to refuse a rough first draft and will send back to the author for further revisions. The author may also lose their place in line on the editor’s schedule. Please work hard to send a clean manuscript. Send your last best draft. You will get the most for your money that way.See my Self-Editing Tips at right. à
